How To Talk About The Other Pile of Bills

Hi,
You've set aside your pile of living expense bills, and now let's look at your other stack of statements. These bills may carry emotional flashpoints for you, frustration that the balance never seems to goes down, and that there never seems to be enough money to go around. I will address how to deal with these bills in great detail in future blogs but today's topic is how to talk about them with your significant other, creditors, and in some cases, yourself. To effectively get your debt under control, you need to identify which of these areas are keeping you from talking about solutions to your debt problems. Generally in dealing with debt which has emotional baggage attached to it, we should consider designating a third party to handle communications with the creditor. The third party might be a spouse, relative, friend, co-worker, or professional. Tomorrow we will talk about the infamous never decreasing balance.
Until then,
Alan
